At Sagarminaga Atelier we dedicate our efforts to deliver to our clients a contemporary craft with identity and without precedent. We imagine entering their hotels and restaurants and being able to see that their designs do not differ from the natural environments that surround us. For this reason, we work to create natural, sensory, functional and original landscapes. This is very ambitious, but we are ambitious.

This is our concept on which we base each piece we create for our clients: “a journey beyond tradition”. With this concept as inspiration, we embrace contemporaneity, science and art, experimentation, discovery and its consequences, originality and surprise.

Under this motto, we try to ensure that our clients, and the clients of our clients, are surprised by the creative results that we achieve with our custom craftsmanship in their hotels and restaurants.

Our work begins with a proposal; we organize a proposal with different options to choose between different materials, shapes and colors. Co-creating, we use our experience to conceive designs with authentic shapes and pieces with volume. Co-creating, we seek originality and our own, exclusive and non-transferable identity that standard solutions cannot provide, neither to the project nor to the studio. Co-creating, we will make each project stand out for the richness of its natural design, for the depth of its concept and for the quality of the materials used.

We are aware that design has its functional aspect. “Form follows function” stated the Bauhaus movement. The pieces must also be functional, and we have also spent time designing proposals that offer this practicality. For example, with the aesthetic and adaptable materials that we use, you will be able to solve the soundproofing problems of those places that our pieces occupy. There will also be no maintenance costs because our solutions do not require it. More importantly, the parts have a very long service life.
