Present in the Royal Collections Gallery.
After several months of inactivity, we return with important news.
This summer, the opening of "Gallery of the Royal Collections" museum store will be inaugurated and, before long, you will be able to see that some of the pieces there bear the signature of our workshop.
Three different pieces will be there to welcome you to the store. On the one hand, there are “The Fans” and “The Spirals” —created using a Spanish historical resource such as the classic esparto braid— that relate the historical richness of braiding with the contemporary vision we have of crafts.
“The Vase” is the third piece of this work. This has been the subject of a breakage in its lines. We have reconfigured its contours, injecting new expressions into a piece that, due to its common historical use, had lost part of its shine.
This participation has been thanks to the art direction of “Palacios & Museos”. We couldn't be happier to occupy a space where other artisans such as Yukiko Kitahara —winner of the 2017 National Craft Award— are also presented.
This event means one thing to us: it indicates that someone has seen fit for our pieces to have a public location because of their value and appeal to society —whether because of their artistic, aesthetic quid or because of their close link with the history of Spain.
